giardia?

you can use Fish-Zole, basically metronidizole that you get from the vet (also called flagyl),  and 5 days of panacur,  dosage is determined by the size and weight of what you are treating.

I think you are asking about Giardia.

You can get Panacur C for dogs premeasured for the weight of the dog.  Use the correct dossage for 5 days and then repeat in 7 days.

Good luck

Giardia is a parasite that usually is transmitted through infected water.  Dogs can get this from drinking from puddles outside, and even through tap water.  People can get it too!  You may want to invest in a water filtration system, especially if you have well water.  It causes diarrhea.  It can be treated with a form of antibiotic called Metronidazole (Flagyl).

If you mean giardia, it is a one-celled protozoa, found in standing water. It lives in water puddles, unclean water pails, and creek/river/pond water.  If you don't completely dump/replace your water pails daily it will grow in them.  It causes very runny, watery stools and decreased appetite. It is easily treated with a 5-7 day course of Flagyl, and antibiotic easily found in most pet catalogs. Dose per weight, twice daily.
