Now I know that I'm not in the "coldest" area, but still pretty gosh darn cold!   14 degrees at the moment and going down in the single digits for the night.   Dogs are definitely not into staying out too long.   Just to go potty and they are good.  Of course, they LOVE this weather when it comes time to go herding!

Just made a visit to my next door neighbor, who have a small poodle like thingy that they leave out too much.   Poor thing out there without a coat or anything waiting patiently at the door to come in.   He's got a short hair cut too.  Out there long enough for me to rotate all three of mine to do their thing.   So went over and told them nicely, too cold for him to be out this long!

-22 in my part of MI has been the lowest low the last few days.  My Rat Terrier is terribly unhappy.

Today it was -12; not bad compared to -40. The dogs don't like it and I can't blame them as I don't need to go out to relieve myself. One of my males will wait until he can't hold it any longer. He will ask to be let out several times only to stick his nose out and come back in.

wow, that's quite the difference Veronica!

And yes, my dogs love it for working.   Otherwise they don't like to stay out there very long.

I'll certainly take 42 here now.   Downright balmy at 42...

At least it's not particularly windy!   But, the little bit of snow that we've gotten over the past week isn't going anywhere!

LOL kinolog!

Mine won't do that when it's this cold.  But they've certainly done it when it's cold and rainy out.   My male will stick his head out and seemingly say, I'll hold it thank you!
