Okay, where do you find a K-9 Detection Dog trainer?

What kind of detection do you want to do? And what area of the country are you in? Are you hoping to train the dog yourself or send it off (I personally don't prefer sending dogs off, but of course, it depends on the application I am sure...)

Also - are you looking to do detection work professionally or for fun?

I want to be certified professionally and use my own dogs in Narcotic Detection

We are working a male right now in Accelerant Detection...  He is a natural, I am so proud    Because of the screwy laws here, I have returned to school so I can be certified to work crime scenes.  Best of luck to you...

Good luck :) I don't know anyone in Canada, or even how the laws shake out. We have to have DEA permits to possess the training aids in the US for Narcotics. But once you have the training aids, the actual training is pretty straight forward.

Thanks again
