http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/picturegallery/8152.html For those who enjoy looking at hip and elbow X-rays and making witty and insightful comments... have a look and share your thoughts. I'm sorry about the poor quality of these images. I tried to take photos of the films against the light of the window, but clearly this did not result in a good representation of the films. -Yvette

Hips look nice ot me, but I'm no expert. I won't dare take a wack at the elbows.

Both Hips & elbows look good,

I pre-limbed my girl Virgo with OFA at I think it was 14 months old & her hips got a good but they said her elbows were grade 1 ED,

I thought for sure OFA was going to return the pics of the elbows, I thought they were too bright and

I couldn't even make out the outline of them, they also said she had pano.
I'm redoing her at 2 years and using my other vet that takes very clear x-rays, like someone said on this board,

sometimes it's better to wait until they are 2 & have stopped growing,

Good luck with your results!  He's very handsome, my Virgo is the same color

Although, much...much.....smaller!

Yvette please dont take this the wrong way but are all our "witty and insiteful coments" going

into an article for a magazine?

Good luck with the panno that is no fun and sorry to hear about that.

Terri, LOL. The pen is mightier than the sword. Actually Kona had shown no signs at all of the panno. No limping or hesitation to jump and play. Now that I know about it I'm taking an easy on him. I can't wait to see his PennHIP results because the vet said he was tight for a GSD. -Yvette
