What a good looking boy you have :-)  I like that he doesn't seem to notice the ducks in the background!!! Do you have any plans on doing anything with him?

Looks very similar to my girl Echo (see her in the gallery just posted)  I've been wondering what she will look like as an adult...He looks nice!

Thank you. We are training for SchH, Rally, and I'm thinking SV conformation but I'm not sure. I have heard from several American Standard Judges that he wouldn't do well in Standard but would do fine in Best of Breed. I also want to get his CGC and HT points. I'm debating about agility but only when he is fully grown will I think about doing that, from what I have heard its a lot of jumping and I don't want to mess up his joints or put much strain on his baby bones.

He is my first SchH quality GSD. He is also my first registered GSD. So I'm learning. Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated. :)

He doesn't mind the ducks :)

Even when he was goofing off in the lake he didn't care to much to play with them. Picture is of him jumping in the lake to swim and drink some water, lol.

So does he have American lines then?

by tiffae89 on 11 January 2009 - 23:01

ummm... Someone I talked to said he decended from Hungarian (dads side I think) / Austrian (moms side I think) lines (thats what his papers say as well) but his parents were bred here in the states. So I'm not to sure. Like I said he's my first papered GSD.

good looking fella.    if the parents are in the PDB folks should be able to tell you what lines he is....

I put his parents in and mom came up with Grand parents and great grandparents back... His dad didn't come up. (Someone I talked to said that sometimes happens. But his papers said that he is Austrian/ Hungarian descent.

What is your dog's full name on the PDB? You can easily put his father's pedigree in the PDB. I just did this for a friend of mine. Her female only had the father's pedigree in so I had to put in the whole mother's side for her.
