I take my for a walk 2.5 miles one way, no runing or jumping but walk on leash help build the mussle, I did throw a ball for five minutes, but this i mor erisky as the dog my turn a lot. Let the puppy be puppy, he will tell you how much is too much.

Your puppy will tell you when he's had enough - no jumping until the growth plates are closed though....

I used to take mine for walks, and he had an older girl to play with. Also threw a ball, but Snajper is right - be careful about any twisting motion, make sure he's on a non-slippery surface ( someone I know ended up with an injured pup because he was chasing balls on a wood (polished) floor) For the same reason as is mentioned above - you want to wait until the growth plates in his legs have closed.
