For sale Belgian Malinois Working Puppies! K-9 Roxy van Neerland (Belgian Malinois) will be bred to Cadiz vom Herrenberger Schloss (Belgian Malinois) in the next coming weeks. We expect a born date of March 21st, and available 9 weeks thereafter. This is a spring breeding!

All references be TRIPLE-CHECKED before I let one go to them. Videos of Roxy are included

Puppies are $3,000 each, firm, and not negotiable. Deposits are $500, and first come, first serve, but preferable to working dog homes. We have taken great time in selecting the right male for this breeding and if the price is out of your price range, we understand, not everyone can afford one.

Oly Sh!tsky!  Hmm, wonder how many he sells?  That is a pretty expensive puppy crap shoot!

I guss no one has a comment about a FEMA SAR dog being a protection dog

by Bob McKown on 05 January 2009 - 12:01

If those in FEMA had any clue they might undestand a properly trained dog has less chance of biting a victim. I had the pleasure of being in a club with a women who had fema cert dogs and guess what the did bite work.

Off topic but Fema is such a joke.

And we pay for it.

A GSD should be able to do it all.

FEMA is only a joke when you don't need them. I have been in two situations where they were a great help to a lot of people. They are a dedicated group of people and don't deserve to be called a joke. They intervene in some very unfunny situations.

The political apointments made to FEMA are very different than the "real people" that take pride in the work they do on a daily basis.

Tristate, I know of a Cadavar/SAR GSD in Iowa that dabbles in Schutzhund training. They like the play/toy drive and bark and hold carryover. I don't know if they are FEMA or another cert. To your question, I would personally say that True protection training is out due to the defensive nature of it, but sport training would be okay, so long as it was very prey/play oriented. These dogs have to be around, handled and helped by other team-members. In FCI there is an RH program... basically an international SAR certification that many Sport dogs have earned their level one maybe even two... but mainly those with level three are primarly full-time SAR. If this dog would be a cert dog then I imagine most of the time training would be taken up with that.
