Site had moderators before and didn't work which is why it is the way it is now.

I vote hell no again. Not that our votes matter, it's Oli's forum and he is free to run it as he likes. No matter how well meaning mods are, or try to be, everyone ends up taking sides and no mod can know everything that is going on, to make a fair call everytime. I like everyone laying it all out there, let the rest of us decide what is good and what is crap.

The best form of moderation in dealing with trolls is

Feeding them in any way increases their activity levels.  I am guilty of feeding trolls, even by posting the sign abovel.

The worst thing the target of a troll can do is to talk about them and go on and on about how upset you are and how you have never been called a { fill in the blank here) and how  (fill in the blank here) you are.  Some recent emotional posts by the victims of this crap-especially making it clear that his/her demented website is being read and passed around.

All that does is to make the troll feel happy and powerful and is a very, very, tasy meal indeed.  When you go on and on wailing about the troll, the troll gets fat and happy and has more energy to do more mischief.

Leave Oli alone and STOP FEEDING THE TROLL AND THE TROLL WILL STARVE TO DEATH..

Oli will do what ever he thinks is necessary.    Yes, an administrator not a moderator. Our opinions and posts wont be effected. It is the no name newcomers who post garbage and disrupt the running of the site.

I believe we do need an administrator to handle the postings by those that come unidentified to start a Fire and have no reasons other than to start trouble and cause threads to be interrupted. Call them TROLLS  if you like, but some are not trolls and they linger for a long time and they not only attack some and they sucker others in by  personal emails and such.

In the last year posters with different names , logged in current to their agendas,  have attacked anonymously several members who will  not return to our site. They get personal with them and it is not a good repoire for our gsd information site.

Yes we wade thru it, but Oli needs help so he doesnt have to spend hours attending to these flames, that are not of any real purpose other than to disrupt the database.  From the files of another long time poster here, many years to post here,   "the names are fake but the person doing these postings are not fake..Some of it is the same person personna taking on a new agenda..That agenda is not personal but to ruin Oli's site. But many do not like to get involved in such..To each his own .   Sink or swim.
