Hello everyone,

Please click on the link below to see my puppy eating, playing and responding to her first command. This is my first attempt to train a dog. I'm hoping to continue training her myself the basic commands.

She's lovely, a proper little minx in the making!  A wee bit of advice... try to sound less dull when you call her, you want her to come to you quickly, so make it sound like it's the best thing and get your treat reward in a.s.a.p.

Very best of luck!

What a lovely pup, a box of naughtiness!  I would say the same as missbeeb, this is where you learn to have a silly squeaky voice and generaly act like a complete loony, but the pup will love it and respond well.

Good luck, and enjoy.

Enjoyed watching your pup amusing herself on the grass and the toys in the house.  One thing I did noticed on your video were some loose wiring by the corner of your living room (perhaps for TV/Hi-Fi).  Best to keep them out of sight or perhaps boxed them in securely.  It takes seconds when you are not looking perhaps to answer the phone or the door and the pup chews into those wires.

She is lovely.  I agree with Misbeeb and zacsmom about being more animated in your approach whilst she's young.

Pharaoh

My crazy pug/chihuahua was sitting in a basket next to my chair, suddenly my computer screen went black and there was a sisling noise.  Miraculously, Pancho was OK and my Computer was repairable.  Of course I lost all my work.  I got a lot more careful about protecting wires.

You guys are so observant. I was actually hoping that you're not going to notice the cord .  Yes, our house is full of power adapters and cords and I have to find a solution to it. Currently we are observing the puppy 24/7.
