For some reason I couldn't type in the message window. Anyway, we have a 9 month old and we noticed he has a very small patch of hair missing from the tip of the ear on the outside. I am guessing it's from scratching but perhaps you all may know better. It's a slight red dry patch.

If you are in a warm climate could be a bug bite, very cold climate could frosted area, or just a scratch. Place antibiotic ointment on it twice daily for a few days and see if it clears up.

Thanks for the reply. It doesn't seem to bother him much but will monitor it.
