The Info Group is legally bound to keep information  sent to them  in confidence between  the owner ,  or breeder who contacts them,

their Vet Surgeon and the Researcher, who in most cases is a teaching Professor's at  the Unis involved in  research for  ANSWERS  for problems in the GSD.

The IDEA being we find tests for the problems which we  know exists, thus the reason for the DNA SWABS.

Signed forms are collected from owners stating that  this will be adhered to.

If  this was not respected no matter how much the problem in hand  upsets ones views, and faults should not be encouraged, the

trust would not      be present and completion and submition of the information would not be available.

When   reading the standard it is recorded

"certain  things are not  recommended"  not  that they are  ilegal!        No matter how much it bugs us.

Thus whilst the KC  is  accepting registration of such animals one cannot  be judge and jury, for  prospective buyers. They

KNOW what they are looking for., whether or not it proves wrong in the end.

Announcing this   in an under handed way  to the world that problem exists in a certain animal is not for anyone but the OWNER  of such an animal, this means if you are paying for treatment you have that choice.
