Just a suggestion to all you sellers out there with this message posted on your ad
"serious people only or no time wasters" I may be interested but have a specfic budget and I may be serious until I found out how much the dog is. If you really want to sell your dog put the price on your ad and then you won't have time wasters.
I'm looking for another GSD but don't want to bother some of you people put your price out there. Please

I concur - please post your prices. We want to respect your time - but our time is important too, and we don't want to waste it when it's obvious you're smoking crack when you price your dogs, ala Misty Ridge and Life Style Pets.
The most obvious deduction to us is that you're either embarassed by your pricing or altenately, you're trying to ascertain our naivete in order to screw us.
If it's your own breeding and you'll price strategically to put your dog in an active show home, it would be very simple to set a price and add, "Pricing consideration to show home."

Totaly agree, but what puzzles me is why someone would sell a dog that has "just arrived" from Germany? Why would I pay those inflated prices, when I could go direct to good honest breeders in Germany and cut out the middle man? I dont care if the dog concerned can get up and make me tea in the morning or write a synopsis, no dog is worth that amount of money!!!!!
Call me cynical, but someone is making an awful lot of cash out of folk who know no better.!

As my sister once said as we were being seated in a Beverly Hills restaurant with no prices on the menu, if you have to ask, you can't afford it. We each had a $3 glass of water and left.

I hate it when they don't post their prices, my wife and I are looking for another male and probably have a budget of $1500.00 to $2000.00 dollars, I've seen some nice looking dogs but all I see is serious people only or no time wasters print your price and if it's not in my budget I won't waste your time.
We bought our current male off this website from a kennel in german and we have an awesome dog that we love.

Hi Papabear,
as I do have a litter a year, I do advertise here. Sometimes with a price, sometimes without. I refer to time wasters to peopel, who would ask & demand info in an e-mail, whilts all that info is allready avaible to anyone on the HP. I refer to peopel as beeing "timewasters" to ask for shipping prices, extra pics of the stud, headshots at 2 weeks and the list goes on & on. Just to end up with hours spend on the computer and to no avail.
On the other hand I am more than willing to help peopel find what they desire, even if it will be no Pup out of my breeding. When I have the feeling somebody is looking for help & desires to get more info, I would be the last one to deny it.
Oh, and now I will do something I have never ever done before, if you are looking for a nice bred Pup for less than your upper range, you may want to take a look at my HP....... there are 4 nice males looking for a new home !! And that will include shipping !
Best Regards Ulli

They're not called time wasters,
they are called Tire Kickers,
either you want one>>or you don't!!
The info is on my web-site, and if they want to visit, the door is always open, I make it a point to show them every dog,
even if it confuses them, the dogs love seeing visitors!!!
To everyone that has visited my home, Thanks for the socialization, my dogs are all the better for it!
