Go read this story, please. Some have probably read it before, but it's pretty powerful. This should be in puppy contracts and shelter should make owners read this when turning in pets.

Any breeders nightmare. I pray every day that my pups are loved & cared for forever, & microchip them just in case, & keep myself as 2nd contact....I feel guilty when I take 1 dog out & leave the others to be next in line, they look so sad to be left behind, even for an hour; I just can't imagine having to leave a dog behind at a pound....heartbreaking. jh
