by schdiva on 09 December 2008 - 17:12

Yes, And frankly was not surprised at all.   Wait till they did a little deeper.  Should be an interesting investigation, unless some of the main players accidentally come up DQ.'d

Our governor is in federal custody on corruption charges. Watching his quotes being repeating on MSNBC with every other word being "bleep" is giving me a good chuckle this morning. Apparently the federal government doesn't think senate seats are for sale.

I'll have to check it out.

I wish they would clean house across the board, I'm not all that fond of my Governor either.   Don't know how corrupt he is but I can't stand him.

Did anyone watch Boston Legal last night, I got a charge out of the subject matter in the episode.

I think thats the last one.

this is small potatoes in comparison to the one who just left the senate seat.  there is corruption beyond belief here in this country.  what happened yesterday (8th) is proof that we no longer have any recourse either.  even the supreme court no longer upholds the constitution.  america, as we know it...................is dead.  i am just sick.

I can't beleive the number of (explatives) in the news from him either.  I thought only "uneducated men" spoke that way in polite society.  The actuall paperwork from the FBI does not blip anything out.  SOB was scamming the hospitals, hiring the construction crews (whose history/ownership is closely linked to people named spilatro, if ya know what I mean)  that take forever to fix the tollways,  plus messing with our Cubbies!

Although I do not think he would have been "caught" if he hadn't pissed of his father in law, Alderman Mel and the gravel companies that are filling quarries with "clean fill".  More shit will hit the fans if Blago turns on the Chicago Machine for this one, and I think he will.

Time to move to WI or IN!
