British Sieger Book 2008 - Page 1

My book has just arrived and I have spent the last two hours going through every word and picture. 

I would like to congratulate all those who were involved with this publication and in particular for Lin at Fardogart for the courage of her convictions to go ahead with this book it is absolutely fabulous, all your hard work and dedication has paid off, congratulations to you and those that helped you a book that finally does justice to the German Shepherd Dog in the UK.   Linda

To all who were involved in the making of the First ever British Sieger book we want to say a huge well done,it is fab.

Big well done though esp to Lin from Fardogart,without you this book wouldnt have happenend and it is evident that your hard work,long hours ,extremme patience has all paid of.The quality of the book is super and what makes it better is that you are such a nice lady.

All the adverts look great and i havent put the book down yet,i hope people will continue each year to support this book  .

Yes a super book, well done to everyone involved with the publication.  It's lovely to see so may adverts from alot of the Kennels, and the photo's are just fantastic as is the quality of the book.  It looks like the UK have all pulled together which is especially nice.  I just love the expressions of peoples face's in the photos.

Well done Lin, you are just great and a very happy bubbley Lady.

A truly fantastic book, Congratulations Lin. Exactly what the GSD scene in the UK needed.
Now if we can obtain the "two tier" KC registration system based of Breed Health Certification (BHC) - and ONE GSD Championship Show held EVERY Month, and make PROGRESS on "Re-allocation of CC's" to accomodate our 10 TOP GSD Clubs having a GSD Championship Show EACH & EVERY YEAR, and vastly improved the "functionality" of the GSD Breed Council, and the GSD League & BAGSD to fully merge to form the "BRITISH GSD NATIONAL CLUB" - Our GSD Scene here in the UK will become "almost perfect"

LIN.... SUPER job girl, really a wonderful book and so very well put together, the sieger photos and the designs are truely beautiful.  its so good to see the UK GSD breeders supporting the publication of the book. A BIG well done to all concerned,

Thank you so much guys   It has been quite an emotional few days as you can imagine, Overwhelming to be honest!

It has been a nerve wracking couple of weeks ,to say I have been nervous would be a major understatement. 

This book was a real team effort  , it couldn't have happened without each of the team, you can see the whole book team here.

I was extremely lucky to have great people on board, it was hard work but great fun putting the book together.

The support as the project progressed just grew and grew and  without the support of exhibitors, breeders and Wendy and Graham Stephens of Arden grange it wouldn't have been possible  , not forgetting those involved with the British Sieger Working Party commitee who supported the publication, they were of paramount importance in facilitating this publications success, my sincerest thanks to them.

Hopefully next year and there will be a next year! the publication will be stronger again. I will definitely be taking all the feedback on board and I have already recieved good constructive feedback  that can only help improve the publication.

The publication will be expanded a bit further next year , thanks to the GSD CLUB of WALES. The two day show will definitely be included  alongside the sieger and bundessieger , it will have its own formatting and section. This will not detract from the siegers content but will add a further indepth record for our breed in years to come.
