I took these photos of "little" Bella this afternoon as her 7 month birthday is tomorrow November 28th. I may be biased, but I think she's turning into one handsome girl. (And weighs 70 lbs now!!) She still has a little extra fringe around her ears but definiately won't be a raging longcoat like my male. Her coat is coarse to the touch versus my male's soft, fine and wispy coat. And no part on her back or fringe on the legs. Wish I could have gotten a full standing photo but at least this one shows her coat and face pretty well.
#2 is Bella being a goof, sitting outside on the back deck all by herself in a lawnchair.
And #3 is a fine example of Bella's "bitework". (She chewed a hole in the bottom board of my ex's wooden deck.) Luckily I have a cement patio at home.

Thanks CMills, Funky and Wuzzup. Instead of all the drama around here, we all need to oil up our cameras for the holidays. I'd love to see more pictures and videos of everyone's dogs. Wait til you see Bella's "table training" :-)

It is amazing how fast they grow. I thought she had slowed down a bit until I compared these pictures with ones I took last month. I think she will easily make it to the 80 plus lb range. She still looks small tho when she stands next to the males. She's alpha bitch over the older male already and working hard on the younger one. I think her coat is still up for debate. I see "standard coats" (especially in the showlines) with a lot more fringe than her. I'm curious enough that I plan to order one of those DNA tests. Might be interesting to know how much (or little) it takes to be a longcoat, at least genetically (sp?)speaking.

how's your healing coming along? and how's bella on the jumping up front? is she showing some self-control and keeping her feet on the floor?

by sueincc on 29 November 2008 - 17:11
Good questions, justcurious. I know that I was not alone in hoping the two of you would get past the jumping issues. I hope this season finds you healing and Bella with 4 on the floor!
