This is my female Esche Mala that I have hope as finishing as a therapy dog. I love her color Temperment is great  overall great style for me. The only thing I would like to add to her is a little size? She is the Czech lines which I happen to like

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/544411.html

I wanting to know more about the DDR lines everything in general  and (if everything checks out with her she is only 8months) Who are some complimentary lines to breed with her??

Thanks

Please dont get this the wrong way, but why do you want to breed her? Ask this question to yourself and try to answer it to yourself with absolute honesty.

I looked through her pedigree, and she has quite a few DDR dogs in her Check lines. There are also german working lines, and I even saw some Wienerau in the back. She has some big names in there, which could suggest great working ability, yet I feel that this pedigree is a mix of nonespecific breeding. Basical you could end up with a "bang" puppy or a "puff" puppy with no consistent type within a litter. As there is so much mixing arround in her past it is difficult to recommend a specific line to match or breed upon.

If you still want to breed her, DDR is good, as they produce strong phenotype and bone. Still even there you need to find a stud whos genes are very dominant over your girls genes. One who has produced good puppies with a bitch and pedigree similar to your girls one. This requires alot of research on your part. But you want to breed her, so you might as well do it right.

Remember your girl is still very young. Chechz deprived from DDR and DDRs tend to mature and fill out on a slower rate. Look at her again when she is closer to 3 years old. Also, brood bitches should not be taller then 24 inches at the withers. Take another shot and bring the camera down to her level, you might be in for a surprise.

Thanks  for your replies

ofcourse I am not going to breed her at 8months!! When I finish her as a therapy dog and get her OFA certified I will see where we are then. I am starting me research very early  so I can find what I am looking for if I do decide to breed, which would be something to compliment my lines and bring the best of the best out of her.

So can anyone else tell me anything about straight DDR lines (not saying that is what I'm looking for to breed her with would just like to know more about them)

P.S. Was just a quick pic first ever time to stack her and my husband who is 6'4 took it just wanted to get a pic of her up fast I will take a better one ....someday :)

I go in posting a message knowing some replies will be........ other peoples opinions which I don't always understand and are differ than mine that is why sometimes I just got to laugh with them!!  :)

Thanks for any imput

haines,

She looks fine to me, how much does she weigh?

You need to be patient and see her strong and weak point's before you think about possible breeding's.

Figure out what you plan on accomplishing with her first.

Moon's.
