how can you tell if a dog is to fat?

i was told my dog is fat but i dont think so

 if you cant feel the ribs with your palm placed the dog is fat

there should be a clear definition of the loin ribs should be felt as described above

If you can,t hear the radio when he sits on your face.

but I do own a beefy bitch by the name of Sam.
Sam is just wide bodied

Can you post a pic of your dog, love to see him!

A dog is too fat when you can't see any muscle definition.   Or if it looks like a barrel with leg's.

My father once took his dog to a vet, and the vet goes to him mr. your dog is too fat, on which he respons "did you look in the miror lately?" hihihihihi lol
