I was just browsing craigslist and found this ad for puppies. I have never heard of a Doberdoodler or I spose Doberdoodle.

They don't shed but are very protective. I wonder if these people even realize what they are doing? The Doberman and the Standard Poodle are beautiful breeds as purebreds. Is it really just all about the money?

they look like black labs, dobermans have very short fur to begin with don't need to mix them with a poodle, it is all about money, I am curious as to what the fee is, and never heard of a thoroughbred doberman..

Please tell me I have bad eyesight and that the pup in the first picture hasnt had his tail docked?

I havent clicked the link, but I've seen enough pics of Doberdoodles. In my opnion they are hideous. Anyone who's spent enough time around these breeds know how neurotic, snippy, and flighty the poorer specimens can be. Just another disgusting gimmick. And yes, they do dock their tails.

dobbies shed like heck so i don't think the poodle will do all that they say.

The only new thing about these dogs are they stopped calling them mongrels.... and some years ago it used to happen regularly that they were conceived on a street corner, and the owners would give them away free and be glad to find a home....  my how things change, and they say there is no money about !

only thing bred on the corners any mor are rottie pit lab mixes every thing has pitbull in it and people are afraid of them when they get older and they go off to the pound . you have to be real lucky to get any thing else any more.

Ha Ha never heard of a doberdoodle have heard of a labradoodle though, a women braught one to a puppy socialisation class Im attending it just looked like a black lab!! I asked the lad who runs the class (hes a dog trainer and field trial judge) he was sayin that they cross them because the labs tend to be a little "stupid" when they're younger and can be hard to train for rise and retrieve so they use the poodle to try increase their intelligence
