This  problem started  at  around 3 months and has continued  on and off until now and she is approaching 2 years

old.  Initially, I  thought it could be  triggered by  allergies. She responded to Piriton and took her off  shavings.  When

it returned it seemed to be triggered by excitement.  She would then respond to Metacam.  She is healthy,

fit, full of energy and a great appetite. Her condition seems to be that she cannot breathe through her nose and

therefore creates alot of saliva and makes a noise when breathing in and gets all tucked up when this condition

is at its worst.  This is momentary.  She will calm down and the condition lessens.   It does not necessarily

go away completely.   But most of the time it does.  It definitely eases the situation if she outside in her run as

opposed to being in her kennel.   Being a normal active bitch  and  not sensitive in her character I can say

it is not  triggered by a nervous disposition.  She was living with another bitch and she  breathing badly.  She

had to be separated from her as the other bitch was in whelp and coincidentally the breathing completely

corrected itself for a few months and suddenly returned a couple months ago.    She has a healthy dark eye

which never  has a discharge and her nose never is always clear.
