Has anybody also noticed their GSDs enjoy a drink of beer?
Both Nelson & our previous hound seem to really enjoy an occasional saucer full of beer & unsuprisingly a good quality german one been their favourites.
Nelson will aslo lick scotch off my finger as well & doesn't seem to baulk at the strength or flavour at all... although that is definitely all he's going to get!

Dogs have no tolerance for alcohol - go google, before you have to wean your alcoholic dogs off the stuff.

GreyHound owners often give some form or the other of Alcohol to soothe down the nerves of the dogs after a hectic run.
It is given in certain sport and to certain dogs. No big deal small amounts is OK because the dog liver is very small so enlargement danger is there. Keep a close watch
cheers

Tigermouse,
Non-alcoholic beer for dogs! Unbelievable! Just about as unsettling as your new avatar! YIKES
I have noticed that a good German beer left unattended, will surely sneak a taste or two, no surprises here, as it seems natural that a Good German dog would hate to see such goodness go to waste.
