I find this whole posting unbelievable in a time where the GSD should be pulling together. With the recent Pedigree exposed programme shown on the BBC concerning the GSD, I would suggest our time would be better spent discussing a very serious situation, which will affect our breed in the long term.
A meeting has been called by The Kennel Club to the Breed Council, BAGSD and the GSDL to discuss the GSD; it is time a topic is posted on this site with genuine concerns as to the way forward.
For instance excess pulling causing the dog to display unsoundness, when in fact shown on a loose lead is totally sound.
Pedigree exposed showed several GSD dogs moving away which displayed an incorrect rear movement, in fact both the dogs are totally sound when shown off lead, the perception from the BBC and general public is one of HIP problems. However both dogs have no issues in this area, but the demonstration of excess pulling showed otherwise.
We are all at fault; please let 's stop the internal arguing and nasty comments. It is now time to concentrate on the bigger issue, which without a doubt is going to cause severe issues with this breed in the future.

You're way behind Honesty, we've done all this, many weeks ago!
How can we have reasonable "conversation" when our posts & whole threads are deleted? Another 2 threads have been deleted tonight... throwing his dummy out again!
Fortunately, I have (on good advice) had all posts over the last couple of days, printed out.

Ask Mr. Payne he may have that problemas his young dog, who should be in the junior dog class age range, the last time I saw him was in my opinion very unsound. This does not mean he has a hip problem

Since when is BAGSD and GSDL the mouth piece for all GSD Clubs in the UK?.
Shouldn't it only be the Breed Council attending this meeting representing all the UK GSD Clubs and not just the 2 many English Clubs?.
I smell a hidden agenda!!!!!!!

How is it possible to discuss the serious issues if comments that do not suit certain people are deleted. Stop the internet arguing and nasty comments, that would be nice, but it would have to apply to ALL. The issue being discussed here is deleting comments of other people, which is an abuse of power. liz
