UNIVERSAL SIEGER 2008 (ATTEMPT #2) - Page 1

There are three dogs in the running for the title, as entrants in the USA national Championship: Ule, Juneau and Zar. All three were V-rated at the Sieger Show. USA's point scheme is as follows:  25 points for Sieger and National Champion 20 for VA  rating and V scores at Championship 15 for V  rating at SS and SG scores at Championship   10 for SG at SS and G score at Championship.   Ule and Juneau are going into the Championship with 20 points, including 5 pts for being USA-bred.  Zar has 15 as am import.  It is still anyone's game!! Not to pressure anyone, but, BEST WISHES TO ALL,   and here's to a 3-way tie!!!  It will be nice to see the day when there are a dozen dogs in the running for the Universal Sieger title.

Really nice to see three legitimate (no need to cheat or bend the rules) contenders for the Universal Seiger this year.  I wish the best of luck to all - show them how it can be done - congratulations on working hard, earning your points and going the distance!  I wish I could be there to cheer you all on.

Yes, it is nice to see no rule has to be implemented, or amended to address the type of cheating that has happened in the past. Karen, Ravi and Ted did it all playing by the rules, working hard, and expending the time and money necessary to qualify. Kudos to them. I am fortunate to be able to see and cheer them on in Austin.

We're hoping Goofball Jed (vom Bullinger) will be a contender. Maybe not for '09, we still have a long way to go, but maybe 2010. Best of luck to all of you who put your heart and soul into getting there. :-D  I'll be with you in spirit, cheering from my desk.
