Sort of. Here's my situation: I am looking for an adult male and very much like the phenotype Kraftwerk K9 sells; big, German, richly pigmented. I have no direct experience with the operation apart from having watched his website for some time.
I have noticed that in the last three weeks, the number of people pictured on the staff page has been reduced by about four.
I am looking for a quality companion dog, socialized and housebroken as opposed to pulled from a dog run. I have no aspirations to breed, show, or compete. If it had a Schutzhund title and fell in my price range that would be a bonus.
Kraftwerk is about an hour south of me, so it would be easy to drive down and come home with a nice dog - or so I thought until I read some of the postings here.
So, without rehashing all the man's alleged crimes against dogkind - where else can I look for that type of GSD - the substantial black & red adult male, minus the severe angulation found in some American bred dogs, and minus the roach back found in some German bred dogs. (I apologize in advance if anyone finds these terms offensive.)
As a side note, I'd mention that my last two Shepherds were both American bred and had to be put down before the age of two; one with a serious heart condition and the other with crippling dysplasia - so you can see I'm not anxious to sign up for more heartache.

If I lived that close to them, then I would go check it out anyway. I personally wouldn't pay the prices they ask but that is up to the individual buyer. You may click with a dog or pup and be perfectly happy with their business. Just make sure you actually get to handle the dog before signing a check. Don't let them just tell you what wonderful dogs they are and make you look at them in the kennel!

Why are Kraftwerk puppies so damn huge!? I was watching one of their training videos and the puppy was way bigger than mine. Just curious.

I purchased a puppy from them and had an absolutely fantastic experience. They took the time to find out what I was looking for, recommending a breeding, reviewing the puppy evaluation for each of the pups and helped me make a wonderfull selection. Yes it was not as cheap as buying out of the back of a pick up truck but I got exactly what I wanted. A first class breeding of a world class German Shepherd and a dog that will be my best friend for life. I highly recommend Wayne and his staff. Completely satisfied customer.

Try Bullinger GSD's in Aldergrove, BC. No finer dogs anywhere.

It's not going to hurt for you to take the drive to visit Wayne Curry's kennel, since your not that far away from him. That way you can see each dog in person, and know what you would be getting into. He probably cut back his staff b/c of the economy, who knows? I personally bought a Kraftwerk pup before he was even born, and can not stop telling people that he is exactly what I wanted and what a GSD stands for. You can look him up at www.boeselagerkennel.com/zavien.html or on here. His name is Zavien vom Kraftwerk. He is an awesome boy, and yes he was my first internet purchase, ever. I can't say anything about the purchase's of their adult dog's, but can about the purchase's of their puppies.
