Watch Animal Planet! - Page 1

I am so excited our German Shepherd Shayna was chosen to partipate in a Animal Planet shoot.  You can see her on Animal Planets new show called Dogs 101 she is featured for the German Shepherd dog she is a long-coat and we were unsure if they would use her or not, well we tuned in tonight and there she is! This is our first tv show so we are thrilled. Two of our other dogs are on right before each commercial break a Border Collie and Staffie Bull Terrier.  Show is on again tonight at 11pm and tomorrow at 7pm for any who care to see her.  Just had to share!

The only complaint I have is that they mentioned only 3 colors..... B/T, Black, and........white

NO SABLE??

However, they showed more sable than any other color

Thanks for the heads up!  Your Shayna is gorgeous. Love her black face.  That was quite a segment on the GSD.  I was surprised to see the old film of Hitler and his Blondi.

i watched the show way early this morning last show befor the sun came up only caught the last half  i will watch again in full hope to see all you dogs was your dog the one with the frisbie like thing ?

Yes she was on near the end during the recap of the breeds playing with a large frisbee also was walking with an American Flag in her mouth.  At the very beginning of the show the German Shepherd is the first breed profiled.  Looks like the show is popular they are planning on doing another shoot and finishing up all the AKC breeds of dogs.  Anyone interested??  Filming is in NYC at some point next year.  Thanks for all the kind words! I just love my girl to pieces she is a fantastic obedience dog loves to work.
