Moondust,  You are !00% correct!! Do not give CKC a dime. There are thousands of back yard breeder puppy mills that have their puppies registered with CKC.  Correction BlackHawk Shepherds CKC has thousands of breeders that are scaming people and they have not been disbared or revoked. CKC will revoke you only if they get a complaint from a customer about a puppy they have purchased, even if they have registered several litters from that sire and dame that they do not know anything about other than having  photo's of the suppost to be sire and dame, CKC will not try and correct the problem they will just revoke your registraion making it look like your fault. When fact of he matter CKC should not have resistered the dogs in the first place with out a pedigree or proof that the dogs were infact purbred. Run from CKC, Their are a few reputable registries out there, UKC  is one of them. I have never had a problem with them.

Just so everyone understands their are two CKC's   First "Canadian Kennel Club"  High Class ,respectable & has been around since the late 1880's. The Canadian equilent to the AKC . The AKC & Canadian Kennel Club  formed around the same time.

The other CKC is the "Continental Kennel Club" I have no idea how long they have been around. but if you can't get registration through the real CKC or the AKC they might  take you.

I DO NOT MEAN THE CANADIAN CLUB  THEY ARE LEGIT THE OTHER CLUBS NOT TO INCLUDE AKC       UKC ACA CKC THE LIKE OF THEM  WILL REGISTER DOGS SOLD WITH LIMITED REGISTRATION FROM AKC AND CANADIANCLUB WITH LIMITED REGISTATION  AND GIVE THE DOGS FULL STANDINGS THIS IS NOT FAIR TO THE ORIGONAL BREEDERS OR SELLERS OF THE PUPS OR DOGS IT IS STEALING REGISTRATIONS AND I MUST ADD I WAS QUITE UPSET WIYH THIS AS PEOPLE WORK HARD TO BUY TRIAL TRAIN XRAY THIER DOGS BELIEVING THE PUPS THEY ARE SELLING ARE GOING TO PET HOMES ONLY TO BE REGISTERD ELSE WHERE AND BRED  WHEN THAT WAS NOT THE SELLERS INTENT NO ARE THEY PAYING FOR THE RIGHT TO BREED OR SHOW NOT FAIR Halo
