Some breeder mentioned that they give buffalo milk to there pup 2 weeks prior selling them because it makes them nice and fluffy. They also tell them that they are well cared and fed and that they havenot spared any expense.

The problem is that they do not tell the new owner there secret of the milk. Within weeks of the pup leaving they really loose alot of weight and get skinny

Interesting, so is that suppose to be good for the pups and ethical?  Or are they only looking to fill their pockets???  What happens if they have some pups for longer????  Do they continue feeding it to them???  If so what does it do if anything to their growth????

Not trying to be mean but everything that goes into a put and things in their environment affect them.  What affect does the buffalo milk have on them????

Buffalo milk actually fattens them up. What they tell is first build the structure of the puppy by feeding/ weaning them onto high quality kibble then slowly introduce the buffalo milk to make them look bigger.

I think this only works for pet puppies as its a method to trick the impulse buyers

I agree with AhSighEE,

How on earth can be Buffalo Milk be better than a Mothers Milk

Its a Silly sales ploy i reckon and one that does not hold Water, or in this case Buffalo Milk

I'd love to watch someone try to milk a buffalo...hehehehehe

I grew up around a dairy farm back before it was mechanized.    Milking was never a picnic even with gentle hand raised cow's.   Much less a buffalo.

The milk could have a higher fat content, but it could also carry disease and parasite's unless processed.

The thing's people come up with....LOL

Buffalo milk is primarily used in making cheeses. It is one of the most expensive milks to buy , so I doubt any puppy mill breeders, even have the money to buy it. Goats milk commercially is terribly expensive, as well.. I use goats milk when weaning my pups. I have a man close to me who raises goats, but if he has no fresh, I'm left to go to the grocery.
