A quick video clip for your entertainment. I don't know how popular or achievable this type of training is, but I've never personally had a dog do it previously.
Here's my 19 month old GSD bitch "Xena" tackling some ladders.

I train two dogs in USRA = Urban Search and Rescue. We train our dogs ro climb wood & metal ladders up to 6 feet high. They are required to go through tunnels (straight and right and/or left angles). Cross See saws 1/2 way, stop and shift their weight and allow it to gently rest on the ground and finish crossing it. Climb, cross and descend over elevated planks up to and over 6 feet in height. They also have to be able to follow you commands to go to one of four directional boxes & jump up on them as well as climb & search for victims on concrete & trash rubble piles. I just returned from a class in Miss. and was thrilled with how my young 17 month old bitch was doing in class as were the other participants until this young stray cat came out of the woods and began doing everything our dogs had been doing, including the elevated plank and all on it's own!!!!!! We go photo's to prove it too, wish I knew how to down load the photo's!!! If the kitten could do a bark alert I'd taken it home!!!!! :o) Amaizing and there were dogs all around the agility area when this young cat decided to show all the dogs up!!!!! ;o)
