I had bought a dog from a breeder who knew the dog had a soft ear he has it in his show pics. This breeder sold this dog to me telling me it was because this dog was teething and sure to come out of it. Well after many attempts to make this dogs ear stand it finally did. Also this pup got his hips checked at 8 months old by a very well known vet who does gsd hip checks all the time and the left hip is bad no doubt about it. This breeder has told me several times that I get a replacement it says it right in the contract I had signed now after being very very patient and waiting after 5 breeding no replacement now when I e-mail I get no response. I am getting very upset. I have lawyer who would just love to screw up her name but lol after reading on here looks like she has pissed off a lot more people then just me. When it comes to the dollar she does worship it. So any suggestions on what to do?
Thanks

Read your contract. What does the contract say about the dog? Was it sold to you as a dog for show? For breeding or a pet? Did you send the x-rays into OFA and does OFA say the dog is dysplastic? No one cares what your vet says. It must be an organization like OFA saying the dog has dysplasia. Then, once you have a rating, what does your contract say about a remedy if the dog is dysplastic? If you have not proved to the breeder that the dog is dysplastic, they have no obligation probably to do anything about your dog just yet.
If this breeder is already the subject of negative discussion here before and, as you say, others were pissed off at her, why did you buy from her?
Your remedy is in your contract. First and foremost, you must also fulfill any requirements that you agreed upon as well. Then, when you have done that, if the breeder does not honor her contract there are several additional things you can do. But first things first.

adora02, I would agree with hodie, it depends on your contract. I have to tell you that I too purchased a gorgeous male pup from a very reputable breeder and he was very aware that I was wanting to show this pup and he helped me pick the pup because of his conformation, etc. In this person's contract he states that he sells all his pups as pet quality even the show quality pups. Well there is a hip guarantee but he does not have any show guarantees, so $2,000.00 later the hip pre-limbs were good, the puppy was an outstanding pup in every way but his ears did not stand until he was 11 months and even at almost 2 yrs his ears were still somewhat soft, flopping when he ran. So I got nothing, I lost $2,000.00, no replacement (in all fairness I had to also follow the contract, I signed it) and had to find my male pup a home. I read what I signed but never in a million years did I think I would have ear problems. I guess i could have made a big stink and talked bad about the breeder and discuss morals and ethics etc, but there was no point, I was also a part of that equation. There are many breeders that will do almost anything for a client that is going to show one of their pups and promote their kennel name, , but the truth is not all breeders feel that way, so all you have is your contract. If you read it carefully your answer will be there. If you contract says you must send in xrays to OFA you must do it, if you have a time frame (age) to send take xrays and send them in, they you must do it. You must follow everything in that contract or there is a strong chance you will void it yourself. Read, reread and then read it again.
Good Luck,

There is really nothing much you can do,
if there is a replacement then you would have to return the original dog at your expense and pay for the shipping cost of the replacement pup. You will lose much more.
if you are attached to your dog, then its going to be emotionally tough.
you can get a lawyer to write and disrepute but remember, dog is a product that can be traded like a rock. So either way you will be loosing.

What area is this breeder from Canada,US ,Germany?I would take an educated guess that the laws are different from country to country.
