Best Protection Works - Page 1

Hello every one I am really new in this site just registered now. I am also new to the German Shepherd also hoping will learn things soon. Can any one help me providing the news which dogs made the best protection work in the BSZS this year and are there any video link to watch there works?

This is a very abstract and subjective statement. What do you mean by "Best Protection"?

There really is nothing is like best protection. You yourself define what you want to see in the protection phase of the dog.

There is no fixed parameter by which an open statement like this can be answered. If you look in the knowledgebase of this site you will find many discussions and links to protection phase. Each star dog brings something new to the table whether its the grips. The fight drive, the social aggression, the prey instinct etc etc.

So you be the judge and define what you want to see in your shepherd. What I may like in the protection instinct of a dog may not be for the faint hearted ( Just an example). Many of the dogs you see standing on the podium are not worth their salt when it comes to real life situations on the street.
