I know that the SV doesn't accept digital X Rays. It's never been a problem before because the vet I use for hips & elbows had a regular X Ray machine. But recently it broke and they replaced it with a digital X Ray machine. Now I can't get films done there and I don't want to just go to any vet because I know how important positioning is to see the hips & elbows accurately. Now I have to scrounge around and find somebody who is good at doing the X Rays and who has a film machine.
So anyway, why doesn't the SV accept digital X Rays? Does anybody know? Is there some legitimate reason or are they just being snooty about it cause it's sure making things difficult!!

Hi Sara
Here is a link to a company that I used when the same thing happened.
Now I can still use the same Vet that I like.
The price is very reasonable

I see it all explained there.
Thanks.
