go for it missbeeb...i don't know i'm stubborn to pay a big bulk of money like that. there are some people who don't have money to spend on a beautiful quality dog. Thats why I was wondering how breeders base their pricing. I feel that if a dog parents don't have titles and one is breeding them to be breeding them than the puppies should be cheaper.
I had a thread before in regards to reducing the puppy price if you don't take the health guarantee, papers, etc.
I rather pay cheaper and not get the health guarantee, papers( don't plan to breed over population of dogs don't want to contribute), etc. I rather save the money for a rainy day in the event something happens with the dog (ex. hd)

Good looking female :) Missbeeb Go for it if you like it :)
Breeders base their prices base on what they know they can get for their pups, why should they settle for less? I wouldn't. Titles don't prove anything. You trying to set value of a dog base on title rather than actual quality of the dog. And once again keep in mind you have a choice you can walk away and not buy it. No one is forcing the dog on you, you have a choice. :) buy only what you like and pay only what you belive is fair. :)

Yeah, it's mad isn't it? If she really looks like that... <sigh> but my two oldies have to have all my attention. Buddy's costing me a fortune, he has a canine chiropractor once every two weeks and hydrotherapy once a week, that's more than £160:00 per month! He's worth every penny and more, but I have to be sensible!

I studied, as saved and found the most wonderful horse for a high (but not too high) price that I could afford. When she was 20 we still got the most wonderful comments........
Same goes for dogs............$1,000 could be a really good deal, if you know what you're looking for. Stop complaining and save your money............take time to learn bloodlines and learn what your looking. Then shop until you find the best puppy / dog you can afford........they all eat the same and the vet bills are the same too.
