No offence but K9 psychologists and behaviourists and any other "ist" actually make me puke!    It's a licence to print money (from Jo Public) and we get to pick up the pieces!

I know people who've "qualified" as a K9 ".....ist" that I wouldn't trust to teach a dog to sit... one can't even get her own dogs to stop barking!

OK... soap box in the cupboard now!

Blue is a colour, just a colour... think about how many iffy dogs you've met over the years... was their colour a factor?  Someone will be breeding FOR the colour and not giving a toss about the temperaments / standard etc.

LOL i know what you mean ...

this lady doesn't take money she just did it as a pass time and to be fair she knows her stuff ,

Yeah, we're in the wrong game.  There's a "trainer" down my way (ex RAF) who makes a small fortune from pet owners... and the guy's a KNOB... yes... I did say it!

I had a (Bearded Collie) come to me, after he'd damaged her trachea and made her a quivering bloody wreck!  Her owner hadn't told her Vet (who advertised the KNOB on his waiting room board) because she felt it was her fault for taking her dog to him!  Yes... I did 'phone the Vet... and every other Vet I heard of that advertised for him!  He's an "IST"... I'm hormonal today!  Who needs a gun?

MISSBEEB, you are on fire, but i agree nothing to do with colour, definately the breeding. What's a knob? Is it a wee bit of butter you might put on your tatties? lol. liz

LOL Liz, I'm a wee bit hormonal and sometimes it makes me ga-ga.

Ayrshire eh?  My sister lives in Stranraer and I used to enjoy the odd trip to Ayr when I was a kid.  Largs... best place for shells.  Good memories for me!

Largs,ah yes my fater in law loved to treat us all to a meal in Nardini's,loved thier icecream, and strawberry tarts, Stranraer, many a dog show attended there, and a brilliant fish supper in Girvan on the road home. Ayr beach front was a great place to gait the dogs on bikes, and believe it or not, roller blades, lol, just can't imagine it now. that would be some sight at my age, would probably get arrested. liz

Nardini's... the best icecream!  There's a fab restaurant in Stranraer called l'apperatiffe, it's also Italian (3-4 generation) and the prices... if I could eat out for that down here, I'd never cook again!

Best fish supper for me... coming home from Loch Lomond (Malaraky Bay) after a great day swimming and larking about... my Mum would stop at a wee chippy in Balloch... the best!  Happy days!
