Where do you train for an HGH..I only know of one place in NY.  Where else is there 300 sheep to work??

I have a bitch who would be very very good but can't find a place to train...

I used to train with Ulf before he moved to NY state.

I work a flock in NJ that was purchased from Ulf two summers ago.  This past summer the flock size was around 140, should be a bit more this summer.  I went to the HGH in NY in October and as a handler I didn't find all that much of a difference 140 vs. 219.  The main difference is that the dog needs to stand a bit longer for 200 plus sheep to pass vs. 140.    or vs. 20 that's in AKC C course for that matter!

I far prefer working my dogs on the larger flock vs. the smaller flock.  We do OK on smaller numbers, but my little girl tends to bring the same energy to 20 sheep vs. 200 sheep.  Which is a bit too much sometimes.     Maybe when she's 10, she'll be a little calmer.   LOL

Over the winter, before I stopped herding and schutzhund, we were working about 70 sheep.   I did made it training until 7 1/2 months pregnant though!  LOL

Work my two girls and have fun doing so.  Fun and more fun like last weekend.

Last weekend! Wasn't that a blast? That is, bar none, one of my all-time best schutzhund weekends, including national events. :-) the great training for days, the wonderful (some might say stunning) camaraderie, the outrageous food (not a brat or burger in sight!!), etc. Cascade Rocks!! I am so proud of our club and our fellow-club members.

It is my most sincere desire to get a bh and schtz 1  this year on Halo if it is possible. Now from my experience on this site I figure I am going to get laughed out of town so I already have my bags packed so go ahead and start the laughter !! And get x-rays for evaluation by the end of the year which will put her at 2 years old. Start formal helper training if those at my club will help me ! To  visit each and every friend & foe alike  on this forum and give them a big love hug ! lol maybe send them a home made apple pie via fed x lol lol

yes, I couldn't imagine being pregnant in the summer!  It was a little warm today, at 75 and I was dying.  Made me feel thankful that I was only early pregnant in the summer.

75 that is pretty warm too!  You live in a much warmer part of the world than me.  So I imagine your summers are brutal.  Is this your first child?

Get Reik's 2, compete at DVG Nationals, then get his 3 in the fall. All without an e-collar. Ha. Had to bring that one up.
Get a one and a CDX on Changer.

Actually live in NJ, so it's not usual for us to be in the 70's in March!    Usually it's in the 40's......
