Thank you everyone I appreciate your assistance.. This has been very insane as you can tell I have never been through this before.. To answer your question I trusted these people..Did not think I should research them.. But I know from now on I will..

That is my question exactly. It would seem that the same research that uncovers this information now would have uncovered the same thing before.
The other thing that strikes me--why vent on a gsd forum about this dobie-deal-gone-bad, when venting on the various dobie lists and forums insread "might" yield even more useful information...and forewarn other potential buyers.

Trust. Damn, they have blown that to hell, now. No one can damn you for trusting. We have ALL been in a position in the doggy community where we have "trusted" and it "usually" works out.

Thanx Mystere, I'm just floored with this.. I will follow the instructions to the letter and go from here.. I brought this here because I as well own gsds. Thank god those people were honest.. Anyhow, tell ya what happens..

We have a happy ending...one of the members here assisted me to locate the proper info on this dog..I then sent an email off to the Polish breeder, for her to confirm the data on the death certificate was false..Wow, things would not have been so harry had the breeder of my dog been up front and honest rather than an ignorant sob.. Anyhow, thank you everyone.. your assistance was greatly appreciated..:)

This is shamefull.... some good advice above on your recourse.. Attorney General and the AKC should be contacted. You can submit DNA to try and clarify your dogs lineage?
As fare as a dog being a piece of spoop ...well....he/she doesnt know the papers were false... You should give the living creature more credit then that and not hold it against him/her. I assume the dog has not changed it personality since yoiu found out...try not to change your feelings toward the animal because of this.

you know it is bad that you got taken for a ride,but say this dog is piece of shit. one can easily also say that you are a fucking idiot who was too dumb to know better.how can you trust some one you do not know.a sucker is born every fucking minute.just my humble openion. have a nice one.
