If only genetics and breeding were that simple!
Anyway, it doesnt detract from the fact that its a cute pup, and as long as the owners are content, then job done.

LOL, how true....
Yes she is darling and the owners could not be happier, she fits right in.

She is a very sweet looking dog. I love her expression, & nice gaiting. Good puppy! And she'll grow into those ears, my dogs all used to help us with tv reception during their 1st year....lol! Love those ears! Hope the teeth are there-...jh

Her teeth are fine I just checked them this morning. Either I shot from a strange angle or she was doing something goofy with her lower lip.... or both. Thanks for all the feedback.

Yep, scqry, not only for the reaasons noted, but also because Sundance Kid is back there. He and a son, Sel. Woodacres Dakota, are among the reaons why a local vet who bred over 100 AKC champion gsds publicly recommended that people NOT buy gsds anymore, because of the myriad health problens. These two dogs produced my last Am line gsd and she was nothing so much as a collection of hereditary health and temperament problems.

wow, all the pedigree remarks!
same can be said about all these 2,3 on Ursus dogs being bred today. too much linebreeding.

She's a pretty dog in the gaiting photo. I would have guessed young male from the head shot, but she's young and has time to grow into those radar dish ears. The pedigree is pretty typical American showlines. There is a little too much linebreeding for my taste, but whatever floats your boat... Germans linebreed too. Just as long as it doesn't bring in health problems in the pursuit of beautiful sidegait.
Looks like your friend has a lovely bitch with good expression and gait. As long as she and the dog are a good fit, that's all that matters.

She does look pretty in the gaiting photo and I don't think her ears are too big, just relaxed and to the sides in the headshot. I'm sure she looks fine when she is at attention or zoning in on a bunny or other critters in her yard.

I really love her smile! Sometimes a dog is so much more than it's pedigree. To me, this dog is one of those dogs, because she truly is nicely put together, nothing is extreme, and her eyes depict a lot of spark and intelligence, unfortunately not something I can say very often in connection with American Show Sheperds.

dAWgESOME, I think she's beautiful, just beautiful, and her expression makes her look as though she's very sweet tempered. I'd take her home in a heartbeat.
And her pedigree isn't scary at all.
