Errors in the 1875 stud book for this updated entry.  Patch is No. 685, not 635.  Again, it shows Venture is No. 620, not 621.
From The Kennel Club Calendar and Stud Book (U.K.), Volume II, 1875:
Patch (No. 635, Vol. I.). — Mr. G. H. Procter's, Market-place, Durham; breeder, Mr. W. Sarsfield; whelped February, 1870.
Pedigree: By Venture (No. 620, Vol. I.) out of Sarsfield's Fussy (No. 649, Vol. I.).
Chief Performances: Darlington, champion prize; Blaydon, 1st prize and extra cup; divided champion prize at Driffield with Shepherd's Lille (No. 666, Vol. I.).

There appears to be an error for the sire of Patch.  The stud book shows it is Venture (KCSB 620), but No. 620 is actually Vassal.  No. 621 is Venture.  Since it says Venture is the sire, I will assume it’s an error for the KCSB number.
620. Vassal.—Mr. Howard Gray's, Harewood House, Horncastle; born 1867.
Pedigree: By Old Jock (No. 588) out of Brass from Belvoir.
Chief Performance: Manchester, 4th prize, 1869.
621. Venture.—Mr. W. Cropper's, Minting House, afterwards Mr. Gibson's.
Pedigree: By Sam out of Ruby II.; Sam by Tyrant, Ruby II. by Young Trap out of Topsy.
Chief Performances: Birmingham, 1st prize, 1868; champion prize, 1869; Islington Champion Prize, 1869.

This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.
