I have phone the shelter and left a message, but never got the courtesy of a call back. Today is Wednesday and they are closed.
Can anyone help pull this dog and get it into rescue?I doubt they are going to want to deal with me as I am in a different COUNTRY, nevery mind state!
However, a 6 hour drive certainly isn't too much for me to rescue this boy!
I will pay expenses to anyone who can help out.

Ugh- it always makes me nervous when a shelter is closed and a dog hasnt been spoken for...

They are closed EVERY Wednesday. But yeah, I know what you're saying... 
Could be the day reserved for euthanasia, though no one indicated this dog was in immediate danger.
