These babies and mom would have been put to sleep if not for her. They were in the Garland Shelter, and they are now safe with her. They will be going to a rescue in Pa, in about 2-3 weeks, as they get a bit older. They are newborns - only a few days old. Fawnda said mommie already thanked her :) I am so glad we got together and formed the PDB Rescue Team which has given so many a chance at life, in the little amount of time since we joined forces.

There are 5 pups- 4 males and one female...

They are SOOOOO cute. I'll post some new pictures next week. Momma dog is a sweet heart. She has given me no grief; then again, she is pretty tired. Looks like she had an owner; owner figured out she was pregnant and tossed her. So sad. Oh well, Momma and family are getting what they need now.
Any suggestions on name for Momma? I was thinking "Joy", but I wanted to wait to see what her personality was like.
I have to be careful about saying "puppies" in the house though. As soon as I do, Rose, Cirberus, and Max come running up. Rose is so sure there are puppies in the back room that need her immediate attention. No dog mix though. New family is on full quarantine.

I cant wait to see the pics!!! I am so glad everything is going well. I like the name Joy, very much. Its a gift you gave her and therefore, a fitting name :)

Here is an updated picture. We got a happy wag last night. Momma dog now greets me when I come in. So far no other name has fit but "momma dog."

Sigh... None of the tricks are working today to get a picture to post. Any suggestions? I tried a straight up post; getting an error. I tried pasting the URL link (what worked last week), not working either.
