For my research, I ask to a friends who have mix dogs of beauty lines for work, even in the first, second, third generation, what results they have obtained at a sporting and utility level (search and rescue, on rubble or in water) and what the status is of general health also of any children as well as of the reproducers. Please only report the name of the dog and results, I would like no controversy to be made about the use of these dogs in breeding

lechoshlaw vom hilla is the registered name. He has been an excellent well rounded working dog for me. His hunt drive is substantial enough to do detection for long hours in the midwest US summer heat & rain, sometimes up to 50 hour long work weeks. He will drop his reward toy to indicate on another find after being rewarded for the first find, but can discriminate and pass by those we found yesterday to several weeks ago previously if i ask him to. (wildlife/cadaver work)

Food and ball drive are very good, but not as extreme as for example your average KNPV dog. He's a more steady consistent worker than totally over the top in any one thing, but his off switch is short lasted- he likes to stay busy doing something throughout the day, but he will settle in his kennel or at home after the day is done..the second I get up though he's up and ready to work again.

He's very social with people but does not like other dogs much other than the one he lives with. He can remain neutral in public, but if one makes contact looking for a fight he is not the type to back down, and left to his own devices would definitely start trouble off lead unsupervised. Same with cats and small prey animals- only good with those that are part of the household.

No health issues at all, other than the occasional upset stomach once in a blue moon. He was a breeze to housebreak and despite his drive never chews up anything he's not supposed to.

Also started training him in PSA which he enjoys quite a bit. He is very leaky around decoys but very clear headed and trustworthy with his obedience. He has potential to be quite civil, but I have chosen to not foster this in his work due to the amount of time he spends out in public- if I truly needed him to, I don't doubt he would bite for real, but a lot of passive decoy work or prey guarding would have him looking for bites more often than I want him to be. His grips aren't anything spectacular, but enough to get the job done. No issues targeting, travelling, thrashing excessively, pulling, or coming off the bite but he can be chewy and just kinda hangs in one spot rather than pushing in like we want to see in PSA- he pushes in more with his hind legs than his mouth. Decent possession, but nothing over the top crazy. He will hang on forever on a lift off but outs very reliably with little force needed- probably due to early training. It's hard to say though if the grips are bad because I started this late in life with him (2 years old) after haphazardly playing with him. I didn't know anything about bite sports when I got him so i never played with him properly. No issues with can curtians, clatter stick, jug of rocks. Gunfire took time to condition but he's fine now. Environmentally, his worst flaw is he is not confident on unstable surfaces such as a wobble board or wobbly bite table, and slightly dislikes mechanical such as vaccums, leaf blowers etc.

I know of several relatives that went to the penn vet working dog center for either SAR or ovarian cancer detection, but I believe one retired early due to being a little too sharp with people after transferring handlers too many times. I hope this helps give info on what you are looking for!
