Am hopeful; recently has anyone heard a Police K9 had to be retired due to one leg that retracted up when dog was either trying to run ahead or whatever, does anyone know what happened with this dog?

My pregnant bitch slipped and strained her leg and was limping pretty badly. The vet gave us Duralactin because it should be safe to give during pregnancy, and it seemed to work very well for her.
