What in tarnation is this nonsense now by Augusto Deoliveira?  Things like this just spoil the entire integrity of the database.

Western rider, please review the integrity of that pedigree listing. IMHO, it makes a mockery of the entire purpose of having a shepherd pedigree database.

vk4gsd, the fellow mentioned is a con artist of the highest degree, preying on people who want a nice GSD for a family pet but know nothing about what to look for in a breeder [or an honest human being, apparently]. Take a look at the pedigree for yourself, and you'll see exactly what JennM is referring to:

The weasel is trying to outrun his reputation and history of grifting, bad breeding practices, laughable training skills and shoddy animal husbandry, and has changed his kennel name to try and deflect all of that. Won't work, of course.

I have removed the comments from the pedigree and am trying to verify the pedigree itself. I will leave a comment here once I know something.

We try to look at all the latest entries every day, but there just is not enough time, so some, like this one, slip through.
I have sent a PM to the member who changed the pedigree. It was not the original owner.

Actually, Fantom76, it WAS the original owner--he's just got a new user name to go with his new kennel name. GSK was Augusto De Oliveira/Griffin Shepherd Kennels, and The Ultimate GSD is also Augusto De Oliveira/The Ultimate GSD fka Griffin Shepherd Kennels/GSK.

He recently fled New England, virtually under cover of darkness, for yet another rented property he can trash, and is now located in Clover, South Carolina. He also changed his email address and phone number, as he tries to bury his sordid past of conning people [among other less-than-prideworthy activities] in hopes that he can continue to cheat people for a bit longer. But rest assured, they are one and the same user.
