Maybe he has a rather boring life ? It seems to be a made-up game; notice he stops short of really biting his back foot ! I'll swear he's got a grin on his face at one point where he puts his head back up on the chair-arm.

I can't see that link, it says it is expired, but I can guess I have seen it or something similar posted before, and the reason for the behavior is attributed to obessiveness that really isn't all that funny, since it is making fun of something that the dog needs help with, to stop himself.

Really stupid behavior on part of the people who encouraged the resource guarding in above video and thought it was funny. They need a lot of help as well.

Doberman seem to be oddly prone to this as well as there are several in videos attacking themselves over food, toys or treats.
