Where do you get you bite sleeves? What brand? Why do you like it? Kind of broad, but what the heck. Might find something new :). Happy holidays all!

Hate Ray Allen and Elite, go with Hallmark. Excellent stuff.

Depends on what sleeves you're wanting...For what purpose and for what stage...I don't just use any particular brand...I use whatever I feel works for me...

If you tell us what you're wanting to do and what stage of training...then you might get more specific brands or sleeves to choose from...

Be careful with Schweikert depending on what breed you are working. These were originally designed for Rotties and they work well on short snouted breeds. Many GSD's appear to get shallow grips on them. This seems to be caused by a relatively short bite bar and the longer snouted dogs (with a full grip) will actually get pushed back off a little as they hit the barrel of the sleeve and not just the bite bar. They can't bite the barrel firmly and so they back out of the grip until they are only biting the bar and this gives them the satisfying firm grip.Have noticed this in many longer nosed dogs and even those with excellent grips normally. Just food for thought!

vonrivera: I personally like the "Belgium Arm"...Sold by Hallmark...Some people really like the Gappay sleeves...I like some of them but not all...

The reason I like the "Belgium Arm" is it has a perfect presitation angle and is big enough to give your arm some room in the sleeve and to enable the dog to pull it off without killing the "helper"...It also allows the dog to get full-mouth grips...
