A pretty good chart for dogs and their ages.  Just like humans age is relative to the environment and physical conditioning.  An obese couch potato dog is probably one or two years biologically older than a fit and correct weight dog.  The type of food, appropriate medical care and the minimal exposure to harmful environmental factors can also delay aging in dogs just as in humans.  The weights in the chart assume breed specific and fit weights.  If you have a 135 pound Border Collie all bets are off.  The current data from humans indicate normal and slightly below normal weight contributes to longevity and we can assume dogs are similar.
