POSSIBLE SCAM BEWARE: BIG, STRONG CIVIL MALE FOR SALE - Page 1

I see nothing wrong with this. It isn't a scam to get a free dog and then sell it, whether that be here or someplace else.

The breeder said the dog had a nerve issue; he even said the dog bit a child in CT and was headed for a shelter and so he took the dog back; then he gave the dog away for free. I just find this to be unethical and the people who buy should have complete knowledge before making a choice. If  completion of that knowledge is acquired by a third person , why i should it not be posted.

So, then the non-disclosure could go back to the breeder. Being you DO NOT know exactly what happened between the breeder and the new owner, you can't label these people as possible scammers. Had you stuck to only the facts, that would probably have been fine.

A local breeder of American show line GSDs rescued a dog from a situation where it had been abandoned and left to starve to death by its former owners. It was a well-bred dog. He managed to get the papers from the breeder, and it is now a multi-titled select champion, and his main breeding stud, with a $1500 stud fee, and hundreds of progeny.

He wouldn't part with him for any money, but if he WERE to sell him, he no doubt would be asking for a lot of money. Would HE be a scammer too?

Mithuna, I'm surprised its not a dog you would be interested in. Oversize, squirrely, oops I mean civil.

I just find on a personal level it is something unethical to do. I have a breeder/ friend who got a 4 yr old solid blk  WGWL male ( Troll, Fero, in his ped ) from a family that became scared of the dog as a gradually grew into a dominant dog ( he would not even allow them to put on his collar ). This ethically minded breeder has NO interest in selling this FREE dog, but is willing to place him in an experienced home ( the recipient pays only the transport cost to ship the dog to their home ). I prefer these kinds of persons.

 

A fair price is one the seller and buyer are happy with. Having said that, nervy dog is not a civil dog.
