I was surprised this hasn't been posted here yet so i though i would post it as an FYI. If it was posted i apologize in advance for the double post topic.. I hope that in the future we see that both organizations influence one another in a positive manner. The GSDCA and UScA are worlds apart in some aspects and very alike in others.

Game of Thrones GSD??? Set in the fictional Seven Kingdoms of WUSV, the series chronicles the violent dynastic struggles among the realm's noble families for control of the Iron Throne. Alloway is full of it .. The USCA has always cheated and lied and plotted. Only an idiot would believe that after 35 years of lies, cheating, and back stabbing the USCA has reformed ... and the GSDCA and WDA can join them if they want to but the results will be the same .. fewer total members and revenue each year. The GSDCA, WDA, and the USCA are losing membership because of dirty politics and dynasty building ( along with membership dying off faster than they can be replaced ) so all three will be insignificant in the future. The SV and WUSV are also losing membership with the only growth being in Asia and "barefoot" countries. Soon you can have a Chinese GSD to go with your imported Chinese applesauce and fish fillets. The entire SV world has killed the golden goose as the costs, dirty deeds and politics have fouled their own nests. The "Iron Throne" in Germany is rusting away as the SV's membership declines each year.

Given the GSDCA was the host of the 2013 WUSV but gave all the work to the WDA which pulled off the event at great cost in manpower and organizational costs it is educational to now see the SV throw the WDA under the bus. If there is a winner in all of this back stabbing it will be the DVG as they have the good sense to not turn their back on either the GSDCA or the USCA. In the long term it likely does not matter whether the GSDCA or the USCA cuts out the lights when all of the GSD owners in the USA cease to care about either organization. A lot of pretending goes on like the AWDF pretending they are a FCI member. Smoke and mirrors with fewer members each year. Looks like the AWDF will send a team of 5 Mals and one GSD to the real IPO championships in 2015 if that is any indication of how the winds are blowing in IPO land. The SV and WUSV have lost control of the IPO world.

I don't care much for the direction they have taken the GSD, but let's not forget it was individual members within this org. that were instrumental in starting both UScA and WDA.

bubba, what fairy tale have you been reading? The WDA, before this attempted [and now, clearly failed] coup, was an arm of the GSDCA and was specifically created for the purpose of handling the SV-related events such as breed surveys, SV-style conformation shows and SchH/IPO trials...thus, when the GSDCA was chosen to host the 2013 WUSV World Championship, of course it was delegated to the arm of the organization which had been created to carry out that project.
Like it or not, the WDA has been hoist with its own petard...
