i think i caught a ghost on film, no joke. def not one of my dogs and not a shadow, WTF????

started at an ipo club, new field, strange people, strange dogs, not a problem.

this is part of a 24 hour cycle, from paid depredation work straight to an ipo field, versatile?

well the others cleared the field when mine got out of the truck.

What makes you say that isn't a shadow ?

Looks to me as though that's exactly what it was.

by vk4gsd on 14 April 2015 - 11:04

because the only lights were from the vehicle or my hand held spot light (can't remeber if i used it), so i was behind the only possible light sources which themselves were only a few feet from the dog. a bug on the light or lens as some have suggested would not do it and i would have expected the shadow to distort the dog's image briefly and dimmed it which i don't think it has.

there are some good photographers here, hope they can tell me what it is.

i am going to re-do the clip and take snapshots of each frame of interest if i can in movie-maker.

oh someone else suggested a bat flew past, not likely.

i just had another look, you can see the dog's actual shadow constantly if you use pause, that aint my dog's shadow moving and there was nothing between the lights and the dog.

Dog is IN lights from vehicle, which continue to illuminate BEYOND dog a

little way.   Casts shadow of dog onto ground behind.  Vehicle is moving.

Dog is paused.  Of course its the dogs shadow.

Ghosts.  Paa!!!  You ain't normally superstitious.

by vk4gsd on 14 April 2015 - 22:04

i rule out the shadow hypothesis, the physics does not back it up.

posted it on a skeptics forum, has caused quiet a stir, some smart sceptics have also ruled out shadows.

Me and my dog encounter starnge things in the forst park, especially when we go out to the park in late winter nights. The dog sense it way more intensely tha  I do.

Notice vk's dog does not react to the (shadow / whatever).

You took it to a 'sceptics forum' and are surprised people there

think it might be supernatural ?  LOL
