Could go either way

I have NEVER seen a pup with only 4-5 white hairs end up with white hairs as an adult. Not saying it's never happened, ever, but if there are truly only 4-5, you're not going to see them as an adult. Only spots or patches will expand; a handful go away with the adult coat. What's the pedigree? That will show me more.

I'm way too lazy right now to do a mating check. If you want to do it, I'll look at it, but unless one of her parents has a big white splotch, I bet it won't become anything.

I dont beleive either parent does have white on their chest. Both parents are sable although the dams sable is more of a white/cream undercoat.

On the sidebar, if you click "Pedigrees" and then "Mating Outcome" you can put in the parents names and it'll pop up with that. It's a good way to look at a pedigree without having to actually add one onto the site.

I know a black who has a few (never counted 'em !) white hairs on his
chest, and a couple of white rear toes, who has carried them into adult
-hood. Was about 4.5 years when I last saw him. They faded, but were
still there.
Product of a black dam and a white sire.
