The three part lecture is quite good and about as good as anyone can do on the subject in the alloted time.  Another fallacy of genetic testing and breeding on the results of genetic testing is that the tests may be only 70% accurate in PREDICTING a disease or syndrome.  Sure .. the testing can find the suspect gene or gene mutation in a lot of animals with the disease or problem but there may be many individuals never tested that carry the mutation or gene who never present with the problem.  Likewise there are also normally many individuals who may have the disease or malady but do not carry the gene or gene mutation.
